About the Artist
Growing up in the small town of Mount Vernon Ohio and with not much to do, I quickly found myself enveloped in the world of art and gaming. My younger brother, Junior, has autism and so we would bond by sketching on the floor, making characters together, or playing video games. He is the main reason behind my goals as an artist. For my brother, playing video games meant so much more to him than what it would to other people.
To him, video games took him away from his troubles and transported him to a world of wonder and ultimately helped him communicate with others and overcome aspects of his disability. Because of this, I have made it my goal to one day make games that mean more; games that help people either personally or to bring whole families together. Since then, I have made my way to the Columbus College of Art and Design to further help me reach my goals. With my ambitions higher than the roof I strive to reach each of them as best as i can and do better than the last. |
